FAQ:

Where are you located?

We are located at 2330 N HWY A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903.
We are in the same building where Thai Thai 2 is located (we’re next door) and across the street from Paradise Beach Park.

How is the parking?

The parking lot definitely stays busy, but please feel free to look around the back of the building and see if there is parking available back there if you haven’t found a spot out front yet.

Do I need experience?

Not at all. Beginners are more than welcome!

That is the beauty of this space. It is a blend of beginners, hobbyists and experts all coming together to create something extraordinary. Everyone, regardless of artistic experience, has something incredible to offer here.

Can kids participate?

Absolutely. Open Studio is family friendly.

We love welcoming young artists into the studio and understand that every child is different. Rather than strict age limits, we focus on creating an environment where everyone can enjoy their time here.

To keep the studio safe, creative, and enjoyable for all guests, we ask that children who participate in Open Studio are able to remain at their station while painting. If they need additional support, an adult must be seated with or next to them at all times.

For the comfort and safety of everyone, children who are unable to follow these guidelines may be asked to step out of the studio.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may not be dropped off or left unattended. Any unattended children will be given an espresso and puppy to take home.

Do I need a reservation?

No. Our open studio paint & mixed media times are on a first come, first served basis.

How long can I stay?

Stay as long as you'd like—we're here to let creativity flow, not rush it. The last opportunity to begin an Open Studio session is 7:00 PM, with the studio closing at 8:00 PM. After that, our owner slowly powers down, stares off into the void, and becomes increasingly more interested in pajamas.

How is pricing structured for open paint?

Open Studio is billed by the hour, with time rounded to the nearest half hour after your first hour.

  • Your first hour is billed at the full hourly rate

  • After that, time is charged in half-hour increments

Examples:

  • 1 hour 10 minutes → charged for 1 hour

  • 1 hour 20 minutes → charged for 1.5 hours

  • 1 hour 40 minutes → charged for 1.5 hours

  • 1 hour 50 minutes → charged for 2 hours

This allows you the flexibility to stay and create without feeling rushed, while keeping pricing simple and fair.

Why is the open paint pay structure like that?

We’ve designed our pricing structure to be simple, fair, and easy for everyone.

Rather than tracking time down to the minute, we bill by the hour and half-hour increments. This allows us to keep the check-in and checkout process quick and seamless, so you can spend more time creating and less time waiting.

This approach helps us run the studio efficiently while keeping pricing straightforward and consistent for all guests.

What does my Open Studio fee include?

This depends on which package you purchase.

Your time includes access to the studio space, paint and / or mixed mediums (depending on what you purchased), tools, and basic materials.

Projects and surfaces (such as canvas, wood, or specialty items) are selected separately.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting a little paint on. While we do our best to keep things tidy, creativity can get messy!

We also recommend comfortable shoes. We will have rubber mats and stools at every station.

Do you provide aprons?

Yes! We have aprons available, but we still recommend wearing paint-friendly clothing just in case.

Can I bring food or drinks?

Light snacks and drinks are welcome during Open Studio. We ask that you keep things simple and respectful of the space and other guests.

Can I come just to hang out?

Yes! You're welcome to accompany a painter and enjoy the creative atmosphere without making art yourself. Our studio is intentionally small and cozy, so during busy times a small admission fee may apply for non-painting guests. This helps us preserve seating and space for artists while keeping the studio comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final, but we’ll always do our best to work with you if something comes up.
